Multimedia Bible Studies
Threesixteen employs photography and film to produce new and engaging multimedia Bible studies. Our first series of four multimedia Bible studies is entitled ‘They said it was impossible’ and grew from a project called Pray Wales. Pray Wales began in 2003 when Counties evangelist Clive Cornish carried a 12x6ft 50lb wooden cross around the perimeter of Wales. Since then Clive has walked over 6000 miles with the cross and this series of Bible studies develops themes inspired by real events from these unique and amazing journeys.
In each Bible study a short story is told through film and pictures, relevant Bible verses are explored and a selection of questions which consider the passage and its life application are carefully considered. The Bible studies:
- They said it was impossible
- What am I worth?
- Faith
- God’s provision
are designed for individual and group use and have been well received by a range of audiences.
The multimedia Bible studies were launched at “The Gathering 2018” a weekend festival organised by Christian Vision for Men (CVM) and can now be downloaded by following the link below. A digital or mobile version of the Bible studies is also available free online.
Mobile Bible Studies (m-Bible Studies)
During 2019, Threesixteen produced a mobile, online or digital version of the “They said it was impossible” Bible study series. The m-Bible studies are accessible through a smartphone, tablet or laptop. Through your mobile device you can view the videos, read the Bible verses and see the accompanying questions. You can also type your answers to the questions and make notes on your mobile device before saving these to the cloud or downloading to Microsoft Word for future use and reference. In time we would like to develop the m-format further adding links to additional information, sources of help and support and perhaps a discussion board where you can ask questions and engage with like-minded people.
The m-Bible studies can be accessed using the link below.
Tryfan from Cwm Idwal in Snowdonia
Coming soon…
We are currently working on new multimedia Bible studies based upon Clive’s walk from Jerusalem to Rome – In the Footsteps of the Apostle Paul and his climbs of Snowdon, Cader Idris and Pen y Fan (The Welsh Three Peaks) with the cross.
Mountains are found not only in Wales but throughout the Bible and often play an important role in God’s dealing with his people. We recently selected seven important Biblical mountains and are now preparing a series of Bible studies based upon these peaks. We will film the Bible studies during ascents of selected Welsh mountains. The first study will be filmed while climbing Tryfan in Snowdonia (North Wales).
