Project Description

Boats moored in the Old Harbour, Fishguard, Wales. The mooring ropes and their refections make repeating fish shapes - the fish is a Christian symbol

So they pulled their boats up on shore, left everything and followed him.
Luke 5:11

This image was captured during a 450 mile walk around the circumference of Wales. The picture was taken in the old harbour on the outskirts of Fishguard in West Wales. I particularly liked the colours of the boats and the reflections of the mooring ropes which form a series of repeating fish shapes.

“As Jesus was walking beside the Sea of Galilee, He saw Simon and his brother Andrew. They were casting a net into the sea, for they were fishermen. Come, follow Me, Jesus said, “and I will make you fishers of men.” And at once they left their nets and followed Him….”

Mark 1:16-18

This image, displayed with its accompanying Bible verse, is available as a high quality unframed print.  Prints are available in a range of sizes. The image is also available as a fridge magnet from Threesixteen’s shop – proceeds from all onlines sales support the work of Threesixteen.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only son so whoever believes shall not perish but have eternal life.
