The Welsh 3000ers can be completed as a tough 24 hour challenge however Threesixteen offer an alternative 4 day expedition climbing all the 3000ft peaks of Wales in one continuous expedition. After summiting Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales and England, you will traverse the rock shattered Glyders, climb the famous Tryfan (often called Britain’s favourite mountain) and explore the stunning and remote Carneddau.
After a day enjoying majestic mountains, airy ridges and breath taking views we will find a wild mountain campsite, cook together and enjoy the solitude with its stunning sunsets, sunrises and the starry night sky.
Your guide will set a comfortable and sustainable pace and will do everything he can to ensure you have a safe and enjoyable experience. Over the 4 days walking we may encounter a range of weathers and in the event of poor conditions it may not be possible, for safety reasons, to summit all 15 peaks. Your guide however will try his best to ensure we achieve our objective and complete the challenge.
This is a demanding walk and for many walkers a testing challenge. It is a rewarding journey in its own right but also a great way to raise money for a charity close to your heart. Fitness is key to overcoming the physical and mental demands and to help you prepare for this grand endeavour and if you book the Welsh 3000ers with Threesixteen we will support your preparation by offering Base Camp Adventures and Wild Camping experiences at a 25% discount.
