Walking through Aberystwyth Clive met a young cyclist who had prayed for him.

Next week’s route – Day 21 to Day 25

  • Llandudno to Meliden – 22.8 miles
  • Meliden to Mold – 21.8 miles
  • Mold to Llangollen – 24.3 miles
  • Llangollen to Bala – 21.1 miles
  • Bala to Bwlch-y-cibau  – 24.7 miles

This week’s route took us from Lledrod to Llandudno in the warmest weather of the summer so far.

Walking through Aberystwyth we met a young cyclist who had recently taken part in a youth event walking from Cardiff to Llandrindod Wells. We were encouraged to discover that during this walk they had been praying for Clive and following his progress through text and messaging. Thank you to everyone praying for Clive’s work.

After a lack of interest in Machynlleth last year we approached the town with subdued spirits. However, our hearts were lifted by this years response and interest in the cross. Stopping for a much needed tea break, we stood the cross proudly against the clock tower in the town centre and were amazed to receive a text quoting a verse from 2 Corinthians 6:16 –

‘I will live with them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they will be my people.’

We have also heard that Jonathon Brain, a friend of Clive, will walk with a cross around Stonehenge from 10pm until 6am on the night of June 21st. Please pray for Jonathon as he witnesses for Christ to those gathered to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

“Jesus himself bore our sins in his body on the cross, so that we might die to sins and live for righteousness; by his wounds you have been healed.”

1 Peter 2:24
